Plan of attack for Analytical Marketing Report

The first thing I plan to do is to familiarize myself with the winning groups marketing proposal for the Fargo Theatre. This is a key building block for success. In order to do this I plan to read over the report very carefully and understand it fully. I may also ask the winning group for some more input. The next thing I plan on doing is to gather as much research as possible on the Fargo Theatre to find out how they would like to market to NDSU students. In order to do this I need to gather as much information as I can about the Fargo Theatre and their past history of marketing. This will help to eliminate ideas that have been tried and don’t work. I should be able to gather most of what I need off the internet and other forms of media, but I may have to ask someone at the Fargo Theatre like Margie Baily for some more help. After I gather as much information as I can I must then start to put the pieces together. In order to do this effectively I will have to follow the guidelines that were given to me. But before I do that I will have to go over the section in the Johnson-Sheehan text that covers analytical reports. This will help me decide where to go in terms of the direction of my report. The first step will be finding my audience. I will do this by looking at my research and deciding where to go from there. I also must discover the audience’s needs in order to do this correctly. I will then go over the other points in a analytical report and do them to the best of my ability. The report must be as creative and innovative as I can make it while at the same time delivery a useful marketing strategy to the Fargo Theatre. I also believe I will have to spend time making the report run smoothly since I struggle with that. This will take many hours and must be started immediately.
